Ez400
Facial recognition for everyday single doors.
Two contactless biometrics — facial and palm-vein — in a single device, matched on the unit itself. Three models on one platform, engineered and built in-house by Ibex, opening any door, gate, or turnstile you wire to them.
The Ez line verifies identity by facial recognition and palm-vein recognition — both contactless, both matched on the device. It then controls any door, gate, or turnstile connected to its relay output, and logs attendance from the same unit. Everything syncs to the Ibex cloud and is reachable over a documented REST API.
Same platform, same cloud, same API. Choose the device that matches the door — step up for more biometrics, more throughput, and more relays.

The Ez400 is a facial-recognition device for everyday doors. The Ez500 is the flagship — it adds palm-vein recognition alongside facial and drives doors, gates, and turnstiles. It's the most popular model. The Ez800 is the high-throughput, high-security tier with a larger template database, multi-door / multi-relay control, and on-prem options.
Yes. Every Ez device handles access control (opening doors, gates, turnstiles via relay) and time & attendance (biometric clock-in with reporting) from the same unit and the same cloud dashboard.
It's cloud-native with a Swagger-documented REST API, supports SIP / WebRTC for intercom, and is compatible with HID and Wiegand. An SDK is available to approved integrators on request.
UL certification is in progress. Ibex has simulated the test conditions in-house ahead of formal certification.
